Guess what? It's time for Tech Sessions to start again on Thursdays for any staff member interested. These sessions are generally very brief and touch on specific topics. At the end of the session you have the chance to ask any question related to technology you have. There are also some Open Lab sessions included which are strictly for you to come and get help with a particular area or ask questions. Attached to this post you will find the tentative schedule for the sessions. Most will take place again on Thursday afternoons at 3:00 PM in the A building Distance Lab. It has come to the attention of the Tech Department that many are still struggling to understand the proper procedures that need to be practiced when using any of the laptops available on campus. The attached document contains instructions and troubleshooting techniques that you can use when utilizing the laptops. This document has also been reposted on the Moodle home page as well as the Technology Resources site. If you need specific one-on-one instruction or have questions, as always please schedule a time with Chad or email the Tech Dept. We hope this is helpful in reminding you how to properly use the carts.

EHOVE now allows its users, both students and staff, to use their personal laptops on its network!

Here's how to make that happen:
1. Download and read the form attached to this post, fill it out, and sign (parental signature is required for student laptops).
2. Have your instructor contact the Technology Department via Kathy Schenk at extension 320 to set up a time for you to come and have your laptop registered.
3. Come back to the G Building Technology Area and have your laptop checked for proper virus protection, updates, and connected to the network!

Things to know after your laptop is registered:
- You will be able to have filtered Internet access
- We have the right to revoke your priveleges or check your laptop if we feel the agreement has been violated.
- THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE HAVE ACCESS YOUR LAPTOP FROM YOUR HOME
- Enjoy the comfort of using your own computer to accomplish your work!

We've been getting a lot of questions about the Citrix Web Portal. You can access this from anywhere as long as you have Internet access. Simple go to EHOVE's home page at www.ehove.net and click the "Citrix Web Portal" button on the right hand side of the screen and follow the instructions attached to this post.
